Todd Achord
Training Specialist

Todd Achord is municipal fire service professional with more than 24 years of firefighting, hazmat, rescue, safety, medical, and fire investigation experience. He is currently working as Assistant Chief of the Hazardous Materials Unit for the Baton Rouge Louisiana Fire Department. Additionally, Mr. Achord serves as an Industrial Training Specialist for PetroSafe Technologies, Inc. located in New Orleans, Louisiana; as an Adjunct Instructor for LSU Fire and Emergency Training Institute; and as a an independent installation and maintenance technician for fire alarm and communications systems.

Mr. Achord holds an Associate Degree in Applied Science from Louisiana State University; he is a Nationally Registered EMT; and he holds numerous National Fire Protection Association Certifications including; Fire Fighter II, Hazardous Material Technician, Company Officer II, Fire Instructor, and Fire Equipment Operator.
